Book Review: The Test

Can You Ever Really Know Someone?

Sylvain Neuvel’s The Test (2019) centers around a man taking a test to be allowed into the England. In order to be allowed into the country, he applicants need to prove they are of the right moral fiber. They are asked questions and if they get the right answer, they get to be a citizen. During the middle of the test a gunman interrupts the proceedings and takes the room hostage. Everyone needs to figure out a way to survive.

Sweet and To The Point

This book is a short one; it clocks in at about one hundred pages. I liked how jam packed it was. In One hundred pages the reader gets an exploration into what being a moral person means.

Final Thoughts

I liked this book. It was short enough to knock out in a couple of hours and it was filled with character. You should definitely check it out.
