Book Review: The Little Sisters Of Eluria

Stephen King’s The Gunslinger 2: The Little Sisters Of Eluria (2013) follows Roland Deschain as he chases after the amn responsible for destroying everything he holds dear. He goes into a town and gets captured by the little sisters of Eluria. He will have to do everything possible to escape.

I felt this book a little slower than the previous volumes. As always, Roland is likable and as I read the book, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him. The fact that he finds himself in his predicament made me care to know how he was going to get out of it. I think this story felt slow because a large portion of the story in one place. This made me think of the story of a sort of bottle episode.

Final Thoughts

If you’re a fan of Stephen King, I recommend you reading this book. It’s a harsh story set in a dark world. In other words, Stephen King all the way.
