Book Review: The Explorer’s Guild

John Baird and Kevin Costner’s Explorer’s Guild Volume One (2015) feels like a classic story. The novel is about a group of men looking for a mystical city all over the globe.

The story is great. The language is a little bit antiquated but I think this was done in order to match the tone of the book. It took me a little bit to get used to the prose, but once I did the experience of reading the book came alive.

One of the best things about this book is its design. Every page has a unique feel and I can tell they dedicated a considerable amount of time on the fantastic illustrations and the overall lol of the book. As a result, I felt immersed into the story world every time I opened the book. It was a really intense experience.

Final Thoughts

Please go and buy this book. I usually read ebooks, but in this case you are going to want to own a physical copy of the book. It’s really a work of art.
