Book Review: Lost Treasures Of The Bible

Clyde E. Fant and Mitchell G. Reddish’s Lost Treasures Of The Bible (2008) is an archeological book. The shows a collection of archeological finds that help the reader understand the times of the biblical stories. Each section contains a description of the relic and an explanation as to how it ties to the bible.

Sucker For Archeology

I like watching documentaries about biblical times. I enjoyed reading this book because it made me feel like  they took away all the hard work of archeology such as: getting the permit to dig, traveling to another country, having to risk my life in a dangerous country, digging and studying the artifact. They did all the hard work and share their findings.

Final Thoughts

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get a better understanding of the bible. Some of the items listed in the book blew my mind and it made the stories of the bible become more real than before. Please do yourself a favor and read this book.
